Ålborg: Theater Performance

Huset Hasserisgade 10, Aalborg

The theater performance “The Forest Song” by Lesya Ukrainka is a lyrical drama about love, freedom, and the human connection to nature, deeply rooted in Ukrainian mythology. At its center are Lukash and the forest spirit Mavka, whose love defies both human laws and the forces of nature. Mavka symbolizes the beauty and freedom of nature but is torn between the human world and her wild soul. The forest spirits – nymphs, water spirits, and field spirits – are living symbols of the relationship between humans and nature. The play is a poetic meditation on human existence. It touches the heart and provokes reflection. Get your ticket here: https://huset.dk/event/ukrainsk-crossing-borders-teatergruppe-ukrayinskiy-teatr-v-daniyi-vilniy-ptah-4684
